Stoke Green Day Nursery was established in 2011 and is an Ofsted registered nursery situated within a conservation area in Coventry.
Supporting children’s development through the Early Years Foundation Stage is an essential part of our everyday practice and we offer a welcoming, warm & homely environment where experienced and qualified staff are there to meet the needs of you and your child. Your child will be assigned a key worker on induction with their role amongst others being to support you and your child during the settling in process.
OUR BABY ROOM
Our Baby and Caterpillar room is based on the ground floor of the nursery and caters for children aged 12 weeks to 18 months / 2 years . There is space for 12 babies and there are 4 members of staff within the room.
As a setting we understand that young babies routines may vary so the staff will ensure that your baby’s routine is catered for whilst in our care.
Our staff will support you with stages of weaning & feeding and will conduct a thorough induction to ensure we understand the needs of you and your baby.
Ladybird room is based on the first floor of the nursery and caters for children aged approximately 2 years to 2.6 months
Ladybird room has space for around 12 children with 3-4 staff members and is a new addition to our nursery.
The children have access to a variety of areas and activities available range from sensory play to creative & messy activities.
Butterfly room is based on the first floor of the nursery and has the capacity for 12 children aged 2 years 6 months- 3 years with 3 members of staff.
Whilst in the Butterfly room there will be an emphasis on children learning to be independent, to participate in small group activities and access areas such as mark making and maths.
Preschool is the Preschool area of the nursery and has space for 22 children.
Children within the Preschool room have access to a variety of areas and activities such as nature & science, an interactive whiteboard and lots of creative play.
Keygroup activities take place each day and are planned by your child’s keyworker who will ensure that they develop mentally and age appropriate for the children within the group. During your child’s nursery year within the Preschool room, the keyworker will support each child within the group in preparing them for the transition to school.
